This small lake in the Seymour Demonstration Forest -
North Vancouver is stocked with trout. Its close proximity to
Vancouver allows you to get away from the city and forget the world.
This lake is also a good place to ice skate when the weather gets cold
in the winter. Fishing licenses are required for adults, but children
under 16 years of age do not require a license.
Details: Rice Lake is a short 5 minute walk from the entrance of the Seymour Demonstration Forest. To get there, go over the 2nd Narrows bridge and take the 2nd exit north to Capilano College/Lillooet Road. Go past Capilano College, and the cemetery, and follow the signs.
