Fishing - Rice Lake - North Vancouver

Activity: This small lake in the Seymour Demonstration Forest - North Vancouver is stocked with trout.  Its close proximity to Vancouver allows you to get away from the city and forget the world.  This lake is also a good place to ice skate when the weather gets cold in the winter.  Fishing licenses are required for adults, but children under 16 years of age do not require a license. 

Details: Rice Lake is a short 5 minute walk from the entrance of the Seymour Demonstration Forest.

To get there, go over the 2nd Narrows bridge and take the 2nd exit north to Capilano College/Lillooet Road.  Go past Capilano College, and the cemetery, and follow the signs.  The Seymour Demonstration Forest is located at the north end of Lillooet Road in North Vancouver.  For more information call (604) 432-6350.
