Maplewood Farm - North Vancouver

Maplewood Farm is a five acre farm that got its start in the early 1900's by Mr. Akiyo Kogo.  The farm operated as a dairy farm for most of its existence, and by 1970 was the last remaining farm in North Vancouver.  Today Maplewood Farm is operated and maintained by the District of North Vancouver as a fun and educational farm.   With more than 200 domestic animals and birds,  Maplewood Farms offers milking demonstrations, pony rides, a petting area, and special events year round.

Expense rating:

Admission $7.80 for adults, $4.70 for seniors, and 16 and under: $4.70

There are special events through out the year (Sheep Fair, Country Fair, Pumpkin Day, and the annual Country Christmas).  Be sure to check out any new arrivals to the farm (baby goats, rabbits, and lambs).

There's a lot to learn at Maplewood Farm.  Just watch the expression of your kids as they find out where the milk they drink comes from.
