Britannia Heritage Shipyard - Steveston

Activity: The nine remaining buildings of the Britannia Shipyard are the oldest remaining structures on the Fraser River. Recognized as a national historic site, the shipyard was both a cannery and a ship building/repair facility. Walk through restored boatyards, canneries, and residences of yesterday on this eight acre waterfront park. See traditional boat-making techniques, rope making, photos, and exhibits.

Details: Britannia Heritage Shipyard is located at the south foot of Railway Avenue in Steveston.

Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, Sunday 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm, from April to September.

Winter hours are Saturdays 10 am - 4 pm, Sundays 12 noon - 4 pm
