Vancouver Flea Market
by Nathe

Activity: Isn't there a saying that goes something like "one man's junk, is another man's treasure".  No where is this concept seen better than at the Vancouver Flea Market.  Over 360 tables featuring furniture, handicrafts, electronics, jewellery, household items, clothing, and just plain junk.  Uncle Frank and Auntie Cathy went there a few years ago hoping to make a little spending money by selling their old unwanted clothing.  While they sold some of the clothing, they ended up bring more stuff home, including a 6 foot ET doll with a broken neck.

Details: The Vancouver Flea Market is located at 703 Terminal Avenue (close to the Main Street SkyTrain Station).  The flea market is open on Saturday and Sundays only, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Children under 12 are free, everyone else cost $0.60 to enter the flea market.  Call (604) 685-0666 for more information.  Website: www.vancouverfleamarket.com
